  • Offers spectacular views of Nanda Devi, Dronagiri, Kamet, Hathi-Ghoda, Chaukhamba, Trishul, and other Garhwal Himalayan peaks.
  • Includes a demanding summit day, often requiring 10–16 hours of trekking, with steep ascents over boulders and snow.
  • During snowy conditions, crampons and an ice axe may be required for the upper sections, depending on trail and weather conditions.
  • Best suited for fit and experienced trekkers, as the altitude, long summit day, steep terrain, and exposed sections make it a difficult Himalayan trek.
  • Best seasons generally include spring and autumn, with March–April particularly popular for snow conditions and September–October for clearer post-monsoon views.
  • Considered an excellent step-up from conventional high-altitude treks, combining the beauty of the Kuari Pass landscape with the challenge and satisfaction of reaching a 15,000-ft Himalayan summit.
