About Trek
Mera Peak is widely recognized as the highest trekking peak in Nepal. Located in the remote Hinku Valley south of the Everest massif, it offers an excellent introduction to Himalayan mountaineering. While the climb is not highly technical compared to major alpine expeditions, the altitude presents a serious challenge and demands strong fitness, acclimatization, and determination.
The expedition combines high-altitude trekking, glacier travel, basic mountaineering techniques, and a summit attempt above 6,400 meters. Climbers pass through traditional Sherpa settlements, rhododendron forests, remote valleys, and spectacular mountain landscapes before reaching the summit.
